Unhappy Loss of Power Under Boost

While drinving to work today I noticed that when the car is under moderate to heavy boost, there is a loss of power. It almost feels like I am loosing traction in the rear tires. The tire pressure is ok so I was thinking this could be the result of bad diverter valves.

Anyone have any ideas?

It could be a leak in the boost hose too....

Could be many things... How bad is the power loss? Could be anything from boost hoses to FPR to spark plugs, DV's, fuel filter, bad fuel.. etc...

How many miles... if they aren't low, might be diverter valves.

It feels like the traction control engages or like i'm spinning my rear wheels. Kind of like a hesitation. The car drives fine when I don't stomp on it .

Drives fine when you don't get on it..... How does the clutch feel? It may be slipping thats why it feels like it is hesitating. How many miles are on the car?

I was going to say either loose hose or spark plugs, but kinda weird feeling loss of traction. Does clutch feel like its slipping?

(With the current mileage) Upgrade your DVs and change sparks.

I am due for my 30,000 mile service so the plugs will be changed out. I was quoted 1300 for the service.

Can I have this done at my local shop instead and save some money?

What does Porsche due for the 30,000 mile service?

Is your car modified? If so, what kind of boost levels are you running? I dyno reading may also uncover the culprit.

Plugs and diverters should be changed. Sounds like when my stock clutch was well on the way out. Do you smell the slipping clutch stink?

At times it smells like plastic is burning, especially when I drive it hard. It seems a little early to be changing out the clutch.
