0-200kph in 13 ,wow!!

Last month I street raced with a M5 and at one time I hit 140mph. I won but it was really scary. I am not sure if I wanna race the new M5. I think my car (X50 stage 3) still have the upperhand but it would be really close.

Thanks for the post Lou. Personally, although the performance is going to be awesome, I really dont like the look of the new 5. I've tried to like it but i just cant do it. I think the look of the current M5 is way superior.

LMAO!! Agree on that, I saw that in my dealer, holy ****, that looks so ugly!!! hahaha

5-series is getting better everytime you see it, but the interior looks kinda cheap. the 6 series isn't that beautiful!

That would be right thing for Porsche to do.

Funny. You know everytime I see a new style BMW, I think the same thing, "congratualtions, you've been "bangled" I picture some german guy putting the "bangled" stamp on every car.

I think it will have to hit 0-100 km/h alot faster than ~5sec if its going to get 0-200 km/h in under 13! In other words, there is no way it will do it unless it has ~ 600 hp rather than 500.
Agreed. The key to the article is "well under 5 seconds" I bet it hits 4 flat. Just a guess, but couple the conservative numbers of all the german manufacturers with that 13 sec 0-200km/h, and you got one serious beast!!

One more thing, I am a huge BMW fan, even though I hate almost all Bangle's designs, and honestly believe they drive unlike anything out there in sedan form. BMW, chasis are the best in the world. I had the old M5, super charge, turbo charge, all easy ways to make horsepower. You want real engineering tune out a N/A engine. Instantaneaous power!! I can't wait. M5 and TT in my garage!!
