The V-Flow / MAF situation is puzzling.

How do you explain that I have run one of the first Evo V-Flows sold with an oiled filter for 20,000 spirited miles and three 1/4 mile track days (approx. 21 runs) with no problems?

I love what the V-flow does for my car. And it dynos very well, too. Personally, I think it is a great product. It will be interesting to see how it does when I upgrade to the Protomotive turbos and software later this month...but so far at 575 or better HP - no problems.

This is an EASY EASY fix. 20 min max. Stealer is ripping you off. Buy a MAF from Alex or other source and you can install it yourself. You will need a special Torx bit but like I said, Alex will have that. You may even be able to clean it off with some electrical cleaner and fix it yourself for $20.

EVOMS should be offering this fix FREE to any of us who have their VFLOW intake. MAF's are not cheap and the time and energy to diagnose the problems caused by the VFLOW are a pain in the ***. None of the other tuners have this problem. So EVO whats the plan?

get a better dealer it's a 5 min job and $275.00 part . really sad that porsche dealers will take advantage of you like that....must be aspecial place in hell for people like that

try the new paper filter 1st.have had one for 6months or more no probs at all really

The problem has nothing to do with oil as the experiments done by K&N proved out. It is more likely air turbulence of some kind...My filters were dry.
