I emailed him - this is his response : LOL

Alright idiot. Allow me to explain something to you. First thing is
first. I work for a valet company. Another valet in the same company had a
standard truck roll backward into a carerra 911, the carerra belonged
to another valet customer. The light was scratched on the exterior along
with the whole fender. The fender has been repaired, the light was
replaced for the customer. This is the damaged light being sold since it is
completely useless to us. Now we do have the receipt from the new
headlamp purchased from Park Place Lexus in Highland Park / Dallas Texas.
Now if you really show interest in this piece, I will provide you with a
copy of the receipt. I suggest that you keep your stupid comments to
yourself, this light is not stolen. The screwdriver scratches were from
removal at the dealership. Whoopiedoo, have you tried to remove one of
these? Give me a break.

Jason Nunn

My Response to him :
Yes I have removed mine before on my Turbo to change the fog light and with the correct Porsche tool the entire light pops out hassel free with no damage at all - in the middle of the light on the side is an opening for the porsche tool which you should have had - whose the idiot now ?

PS - scan the receipt then - I would love to owe you an apology

And the follow up :

First and foremost, are you interested in this auction? I really don't
feel the need to waste my time with you if you are just enjoying
yourself.

Second, I do not own a Porsche, I have no experience in doing anything
except driving them for my job. I didn't remove this, I have no tools
to do such an activity and I never said I removed it. Park Place Lexus
removed it they are located in Highland Park assuming you are local.
They did the repair on the car, I am selling the blemished headlamp for
another employee. It's as simple as that. If you want to call me an idiot
for improper removal, you are pointing your finger at the wrong person.

I called you an idiot for the way you approached me with your
assumption. But I do appreciate you brought this "stolen" scenario to my
attention. I have since notated the auction. Hopefully I will receive more
bids.

i believe him ... i don't think he would point out scratches on the headlamps if they were stolen ... it would be much easier to black them out with a marker ... story sounds legit to me?

It may be true, but he still sounds like an ******* when calling you names. But really, I don´t think a Porsche owner would sell his $1200 headlight for $50. Even with some scratches, it must be worth more than that. Besides, he´s a valet. We all know what happened to Orli´s TT once it was "taken care of" by a local valet company.

Guys, if you make a false ebay account and place a bid you can use the eBay feature that allows you to get a sellers personal information once a bid is placed!

Wrote him too, before reading the entire thread. Asked only, "Could you publish a copy of the receipt? Thanks!"

It only costs $.15! I'll let you know if there is any response.

I looked it up. Park Place Lexus is a Porsche dealer, among other high dollar marquees.

O.K. - he has a recepit from Park Place Porsche for a new headlamp, sold to a valet company (name deleted, don't blame him, he's just protecting his employer and his job) and delivered to:
Complete Collision
3350 Beltline Rd.
Addison, TX

Now, some of you might object to not using the proper tool to remove the headlamp, but so what if it was further damamged? As far as the body shop probably was concerned the old one was destined for the junk heap anyway.

I'd say his story pans out. Let's try to get a few facts before making accusations, especially in a public forum!
