Steve,
he have a major cold front with snow for the last 2 weeks... in order for me to finish this thing up and go to Tulsa i needed to drive it in the snow/salt...
here are some pics...
Can't wait to clean the salt up...
here is some progress
I never had a chance to show this... 2 pumps hooked up parallel sucking fuel form each sponson... then it merges into one and goes to the back...
also, some of the ERP sold mounts and control arms..both upper and lower...
Including all solid subframe mounts.. and this is what it looks like...
all those round holes are are where the solid mounts will go...

With all SS internals, water is a cleaner substitute....not so messy. All is clam after the first of the rapid-fires on those "shock absorbers.". Much lower db. after first rebound.
Great producer of these types of items right down here in Buford, GA.
April 21, 1921 was the first release of the Thompson SMG. They produced 144 shock absorbers. I had SN 96. Never collected any shock absorber I didn't put through full jounce and rebound. I'm not a static type of collector. Amazing piece of American workmanship. WW II called it a trench sweeper (broom) and that was a highly inaccurate description, but this one, on SF grouped 2" at 100 yds. Closed bolt makes the difference.
Long live shock absorbers!
Have I hijacked the thread or did the encryption save me?
