On the 997 I think those have to be the ulgiest wheels ever, but on the 996 they are not too bad.

Not for me. I think the more angular look of the wheel goes better with the more tailored look of the 997, not the bulkier look of the 996.

Still better than the stock wheels, but for the money I think there are better choices IMO.
