bling, but is used by lots of racers in the U.S.

I just went to their website and love their looks. Do you know whether or not they can powder coat to a specific color, i.e. gunmetal?

Also, do you know whether or not the unsprung weight is at least the same or lower than stock?

I have been agonizing for a while now looking at wheels. I just can't get over the cost of some of these "custom" wheels, i.e. HRE, Champion, etc. I mean, c'mon.

Why is that Porsche owners keep getting it up the $hitter all the time? Is there no value anywhere????

Call Complete Custom about what else they offer, but their site
does list the finishes they offer, and they are *way* lighter than
stock, and all are either three-piece or forged. I personally care
about performance and cost mainly, which is why I race with them.

I'm sorry, my bad.

At first read, I didn't realize that was part of your signature.

BTW, I'm PM'ing you about your wheels.

What do you think about the BBS vs. your CCW classic?

Thanks for the chuckle...
If I need to replace the bumper some time, they
will go. For now, beauty is as beauty does.

The BBS is heavier than the CCW, and $1000 more, so you make the call...

Oh, and I SERIUOSLY doubt those wheels in that eBay auction are forged if they weigh that much. Make them prove it - I bet they can't.

A good read on quality:

Tirerack may have been simply reiterating all they knew, but bottom line is that I lost money on new tires (Bridgestone poles are NOT cheap) and had three rims w/ no alternative, but to wait. I was offered reimbursement for the ONE wheel, but a lot of good that would do.

Bottom line, SSR has bit me in the A$$ and going from a naturally aspirated Carrera to my TT, tons more torque, pressure, weight...I can assure you I will NEVER buy performance tires from SSR ever again.
That whole SSR debacle painted us into a corner too, and we were forced to make MANY people wait longer than they should have. There isn't much you can do when they tell you one thing and do something different. Things have smoothed out a bit there, but unfortunalely when the dust settled there were many part numbers that disappeared. We did the best we could I assure you. I hope that in the end you at least beleive the service from us was the best you could expect under the circumstances.

Actually, I spoke directly to John the owner of CCW. Great guy. Very helpful and will spend unlimited time w/ you answering questions.

While I was on the phone, he weighed the rims and found the rims to weigh the same as what was advertised w/ BBS on tirerack.com

My only reservation at this point is the color. John indicated that he could paint or powder coat for me, but he told me honestly that he's got some concern about powder coating and the potential harmful effect it could have on the structural integrity of the wheel due to heat.

Joe, I called CCW and was told that #1 a new set of 18's would cost 2800 as opposed to 2100 and #2 they didnt advise the classics on the turbo because of the front calipers (classics are know for very little brake clearance)

how did you manage to get them to work?
