that does not matter as long as they run 40/30 (or whatever close to OEM spec) side wall. there is nothing wrong with the 19'' wheels but the 19'' tires.

Hi Cary. I just read the Manthey article... I completely understand
what you say. I respect technical exactitude. What I think
he might mean is that on bumpy roads the extra compliance
(effective 'spring' travel that the 18" tire's sidewall gives,
compared to a 19" wheel and tire of the same diameter, allows
the the suspension parts to be tuned for a smaller range of
motion. Does that sound reasonable?
