x54 exhaust tip install question

x54 exhaust tip install question

I am sure there is a quick answer for this... this morning I tried taking the oval tips off and install the x54 tips. Took the single bolt off, but I still can't pull the tip off although it does rotate a full 360 on its axis. Is there something else I forgot?

Nope, you might want to wedge a screw driver in the split and spread the neck a bit. It will come off. There is a ring that has to pull off with the tip as well.

Does someone have some close up pictures of these tips?
Does the outlet from the exhaust open up to both sides or one side? Is the outlet centered or offset? I have a set, but I am not sure the look so good.....
