Good luck scott...

hilarious I know, but what you guys are doing to these engines is remarkable, the amount of power that some great tuners like Todd K and Evo and the rest are extracting was unheard of in a street P car not long ago. You, along with others on this forum are the true pioneers of real useable high horsepower from the "little" 6 cylinder boxer. Even though I dont contribute to these threads much as I dont have a Porsche anymore I still follow all of your guys struggle and end results and you guys certainly deserve the kudos you get as you always share with everyone your highlights as well as hurdles. I know you will break into the 9's. Again Good Luck and enjoy the beast as your patience and hard work have gotten you here. |

Well, before the rumor mill starts; I'll pass on the current status of my car so there's no speculation:
While baseline testing at low boost (.8 BAR or 11.6 psi), a head sealing issue showed up early, so the engine is coming back out for inspection. Now, while he never got the chance to take the car past .8 BAR, it did make 560 rwhp at that level even with the sealing issue...so I think she'll run very strong when all is said and done. More to follow.:) |

I was really looking forward to seeing your car run. That sucks, good luck with it!

Scott, sorry man! :( Hey rather it happen early, then when it's home. It's just a little bump on the road. Good luck! ...tom

Sorry about the set back Scott, but the good news is that you will likely see high 700 rwhp when she is done.

Craig Actually looking for closer to mid-800's at 1.7 -1.8 BAR when all is said and done. It's normally anywhere from 32-37 rwhp for every 1/10th BAR increase with Todd's large turbo setups. |
Thomas, Kevin, Tom...thanks. I'll be sure to keep everyone updated.:)

Don't worry... it will be resolved. we had a few stumbling blocks along the way as well... just part of the tuning world.
