As you know, everyone has their own opinions. I just despise clear markers cause it's the first mod that everyone does w/ their car and I think it's tacky. But as you can tell I'm definately in the minority. Loosen up those belt buckles bro

Huh? Your comments don't bother me at all LOL. I was just making conversion. I found it funny you call it rice when it's a factory part used on 100s of 1000s of cars worldwide, that's all. So now you're calling it rice just because a lot of other people do it? So I guess the Stage 4 kit I ordered is rice too eh? LOL. Say whatever you want ... won't bother me a bit. =)

And as far as I know, every car I can think of has orange somewhere on the front end.
My thing stems from all the grandmas and 16 year old girls, etc who have clear corners on their honda's and acura's. It's always been a personal gripe of mine and i've never liked the look, I think it looks cheap in most cases. I just fight the orange marker support to the fullest
Personally, I think the clear corners honestly do look good on the 996, I just gotta hate to hate

That's an intersting statement, considering that your own '55 suburban (looks hot, btw, especially w/ the clear turn signals) has riced out clear turn signals as well...
Here's one w/ oem turn signals...
The bottom line is... install what you like. I think clear (or smoked) turn signals look much better... I don't know how one can say that yellow turn signals "blend" in better with silver or black... they stick out like a zit. But, to each his own. If we all liked the same thing, this would be a boring world!
