Yes it was after the shootout and we were driving from California back to Michigan.

Guys I just want to go on record that I don't recommend running from the police. I certainly learned a tough lesson through this experience.

 

i kindof ran from the police last week in VT after i got caught going 95/65... luckily, the police got lazy and pulled over the two cars following behind me =P

 

That was awesome! I wasnt here when you first told this story but omg what a story. And to think that you have no record now - that is awesome.

I outran the cops in Miami once... once the cop was out of sight I took the first exit, drove 1/2 a mile and pulled into a grocery store parking lot and parked behind the store. We got out of the car and then walked into a nearby store and hung out there for about 30 mins. No cops seen so we got back in the car and made our "escape" back to my house.

Holy crap!!! Thanks for reposting that story. That original post was before my time here on 6speed. I'm glad the felony charge was expunged. That would suck to have on your record. That is a story your grandchildren will be telling their kids!!

 

I actually didn't repost it, I posted the Priceless photo and someone wanted to know what happened. I linked it in that thread and then someone posted in the old Cannonball thread.

I am very glad that I got the Felony removed from my record.
