supercup is infamous around these parts
Kevin,

Cool shops in OC include GMG and Porsche Motorsports (directly across the street from GMG). Also in Newport Beach (Orange County) there is a strip along Pacifc Coast Highway with Porsche, Bently, Audi Dealer (lots of nice cars), then a little further North is the Ferrari dealership (new building simply awesome), then several high end car resale shops. Go there after you go to the Saturday morning show in OC (formerly the Crystal Cove show, now at Ford Premier Auto Group Headquarters).

Come down to Orange County "early" on Saturday morning to the Ford Premier Auto Group Headquarter building parking lot. This is the replacement location for Crystal Cove. The Ford stepped up and said come to our parking lot and play every Saturday.

It is an informal show, happens every Saturday morning at around 7:00 a.m. is over by 8:30 a.m. Lots of muscle cars, street rods, Ferrari's, Porsche's etc... Usually a few hundred cars to look at. Occassional a Ford show car or two. Not unusual to see Barry Mcguire and on occassionally Jay Leno.

So go down to the Ford show, then head over to Newport Beach and have breakfast, then hit all the exotic dealers. Then back to LA!

Depending on where in LA you will likely either come down I-405 South to Irvine and exist on Irvine Center drive and go left (over freeway) continue about a mile and go right on Alton, then left (not sure of the street name but you will see the Ford Building from Alton), if you get to I-5 Freeway you went to far, make a uturn and look to your right and you will see the building.

Coming down I-5 to Irvine you will see the building on your right (from Freeway), you will exit Alton Parkway, go right, then take first right and head to the building parking lot.

It is worth getting up early and the drive.

Enjoy,

JCM
