I think the 18G conversion shines up top, the faster we went into the high triple digits the more he pulled.
How much horsepower is the 18G conversion suppose to make?

Sure anytime Tony! I run 19's too and 93oct so that will be a more accurate comparison. Plus my car has the 4wd system too so the weight will be relatively even... See you tomorrow!

Buddy, It's supposed to be a very conservative 600 crank on race mode. I am running the Evo Stage IV and have pulled on several TT's with similar packages like mine. I guess my car is a freak but running against Raudel's GT2 when he was running the K24's, exhaust and ecu I was able to pull on him also. Now that he has the 18G conversion, intercoolers, and boost control with race fuel he pulls on me enough for me to wanna upgrade.

The only problem is that I think my car will be leaving there with the conversion.

Protosport is currently in the process of building a monster engine for my 965. John and Paul are true artists. Their level of experience is truly head and shoulders above other shops I have been to in the Northeast. Plus what is really great is their unlimited access to Protomotive and Todd K.'s knowledge (not that they need it).

An interesting point about the GT2 Boxter is that Paul fabed that body a couple years before the CGT was even disclosed to the public. When you see the car on the ground you would think it is a CGT at quick glance. Not many shops would take on a project like this. It is truly amazing.

Craig

was at Protosport about a week or 2 ago and saw that boxster, my jaw dropped when paul told me that was a GT2 motor with a older 930 4 speed tranny, he said its a very strong tranny.
Paul did some suspension ugrades on my 996 and he's awesome to work with. Totally went out of his way to get my car back in for the weekend.
Craig I saw you car there, I dont know if you remember me but we met at the PCA picnic last summer, im the one with the millenium 996. Looks like your in pretty deep with some mods. GL with the new motor and Im sure we'll meet up and shoot the breeze again.
I see you got the 3 965 from the picnic up.
