997 Gt2
I was a little surprised by the performance and HP numbers. I would have expectedc them to be higher.
I like the wing, not sure about the front and rear bumpers.

This car wont sell many here with numbers like that @ 200k. Those numbers arent official, I think it will have 525 or so hp. I hate to see that it will only weigh 100lbs less though, that means it will have PSM, ABS etc and lose it rawness, very sad indeed, I like the front ten times better than the turbo but the GT3 is the best in the 997 lineup.
Are you saying that PSM adds weight? It's only additional software that uses the same pickup points as ABS.
I have to agree. The new cars are getting very "stylized" and that only makes cars age. Comparge the 349 and 355. By being very simple the 355 has aged much better. That simple look has been the Porsche formula for aging well, I fear that something is being lost in the latest designs. They look great today, but will they look so fresh in 10 years?

Looking at the last 996 tt to 996 GT2 the hp was only 35 more on the GT2 so taking the 997 tt to 997 GT2 would give you 515 hp. If that is what they do then forget about it. This car should have a minimum of 550 hp, the new Viper will have 600 hp and the super Vette will be 650 hp!

997 GT2 (est)
Curb Weight: 3,275lbs (3,495 997TT - 100kg)
Power: 550hp (what we would like)
Power/Weight: 5.95lb/hp
Price: $200k??
Carrera GT
Curb Weight: 3,043lbs
Power: 605hp
Power/Weight: 5.03lb/hp
Price: $440k+
Any more HP and it's direct competition for the CGT.
Easy choice for me. I'll have *2* 997 GT2's!!
