MARKSKI's gotta have the most powerful car on the forum. I think he's pushing over 800RWHP and has started breaking driveshafts and is getting some custom ones made. Thats over 1000crankHP.

probably as close as anyone will ever get to 1500RWHP

 

I for one can't wait to see the first video of a 996tt to run 9's. My money would definately be on Markski!

I know he will get it done and then he has said no more drags, I don't blame him!

 

what's holding him back? he should have more than enough HP to do it...suspension tuning...drag radials?

 

He has tried twice but is breaking axles.

No longer in the game. The most recent car he built put down 1153.6rwhp, I was affiliated with him at one point but thats another story.

 

I saw eddie's car run at englishtown, he was bringing the wheels right up like that, but believe it or not that car never launched out of the hole either, that car got walked out everytime. Once the boost came in she would pick up the front wheels. It was pretty amazing to watch cause that cars entire pass was made up of MILE PER HOUR, i believe he ran 161mph to his 9.15

Marco from here in Toronto used to run hard in his red 83SC, I used to work with him back when he was running 10.30 @156mph. That car had shafts with titanium splines, believe it or not if he tried to launch on those he would rip the spline right off the shaft, bearings and cage all over the place. When it comes to drag racing if it's not one thing, it's the next thing!!!

There are alot of things that people don't know about the car and speculate about it, I've debunked several theories and what your saying for once is actually 110% correct, there are alot of secrets as to why the car actually performed as it did.

 

Nothing is holding me back... Im in Chicago and the car is in Tulsa... thats where I can actually run it casue its warm... our tracks dont open for another month.
Yes we ran 4 runs total over 2 weekends and broke 3 sets of axles.
We have the tires and suspension all covered. unforeseen things do happen.. one of which was the axle issue... another the clutch.... we now have a beefier 993tt aftermarket axle( proven to work on Bobby's car) we also found a tranny mount totally busted so thats being addressed.

We are trying this weekend again. If I run 9s IM officially done. this is crazy abuse. I hope nothing blows up. I don't have that kind of money to do another engine and or anything else that breaks.
Its easier to run a 9- sec. pass with less power and smaller turbos...
