Back in the game!

I got my car out of hibernation this morning and drove her to work for the 1st time this year. I Checked the tire pressures, unplugged the trickle charger and I was off. The snow is virtually all gone off the streets here, but there is still tons of puddles and run-off as the piles on the sides of the roads still have a lot of melting to do. My car looks like I just finished an off road rally!

As I was driving to the gym after work, I had an opportunity to get into the gas. Wow! It was really good to feel that G-Force tugging on my soon-to-disappear, winter arm fat. I was a little woozy for a second from the acceleration! Ha-ha! Like that’s going to last. It’s good to be back in the game!

So true Mike...had mine back on the road two weeks ago, last Sunday had her up to 220 for a very short bit but as my clutch was slipping pretty badly I eased off.

It sure is nice to have that feeling back though.

Ben

UMW Stage 4?

You must be having tons of fun with the GT3 RS!

Thanks again for those BAD-*** BBS Racing wheels last fall Alex. They are right up there with the Europipe Prototype in my mind. I love them!

Ben. Isn't it though! It totally caught me off guard! Is your new clutch going in soon?

Should be here on Friday, so I am hoping to drop the motor this weekend and change the clutch, # 3 injector, plugs, my 6th gear ratio (putting it back to stock) and drop the rear down to 25 5/8 if I get time.

I sure love driving the TT again, it's a wonderful feeling, it's like she is all new again..there is something to be said for putting her away for the winter...it gives me a greater appreciation for what we have.

Just watch out for all those crater size potholes littering our streets Zippy. I ended up blowing a tire because of one the other day. Damn Edmonton roads
