From this last weekend's Texas Mile. I was busy with this car and only had time to get 2 runs on the 996TT. It was worth it though:

SET A NEW WORLD RECORD:

Fantastic!
Is it possible to see a graph of speed vs time from the datalogger to see clearly the numbers at 100-150-200 and 220mph for instance.

Thansk for posting it.

I'm pretty sure that's one of those nets that attaches to the side of the seat at the top, restrains the lateral movement of your head in case of hard side impact or rollover.

It obviously is a one-off set-up with the gawd awful goofy bodywork and all.
It is the car that won last year also, I believe they bested last years run by
3 or 4 mph. I would guess that they have $250K into the Viper.

Go to Hennessey's website, I am sure he is happy to rip someone off.

If a car is that quick then it will hit its top speed alot sooner.... that kind of power usually is not sustainable over longer periods of time... on any car....
thus I suggest maxing out the gears as u hit the mile and not 1/2 mile before that.... cause then u have to let off slow down and hit it again.
