I am hoping someone on this board will have a connection to help out my son with a Continental tire he needs. He drove over a pot hole in his Audi TT and burst one of his tires. Now he can't find ONE anywhere and as a four wheel drive he's looking at buying four replacements. The car is pretty new so it's a big waste to have to get four new tires for it! He's already called Tire Rack and they are back-ordered.

i want to help but u gonna let me know a little more detail. Tirerack has them so any tire shop can help as well.

 

A variety of Conti Sport contact II's are on back order. I suggest dealing with local tire shops as 20C4S said and have them call their reps if they don't have it. You may just want to try shops in the Charlotte area as conti is Charlotte based and the local market is pretty well supplied. Having said that, I am also waiting for back ordered conti sport cont II for my 996 TT.

i believe u're looking for 225/40-18... that should be the right size. i have a used (not conti's) tire for your son to use if he needs right away!

 

Yes, it is an 18" tire! Sorry I skipped that part. 20C4S, I might take you up on the offer! Let me check with my son (he's in Austin at this moment at the music festival) and it might be able to tide him over for a bit!
