Fred, have you guys decided on what day you're leaving, Thursday or Friday? I'm trying to book some plane tickets and they're going to get expensive soon.

I think we all plan to leave on the 8th so we can take our time and be well rested. So I suggest you come into San Jose early AM on the 8th, or the 7th. If you can get an EARLY arrival into San Jose one of us can pick you up.

I'm not that fimilar with California and how close things are. If I'm hitchin a ride with Eddie do I want to fly into LAX or San Jose or somewhere else? I have family in Beverly Hills and would be able to fly in the night before if I couldn't find an early flight, but I'm not sure where that puts me in terms of closeness to anyone else. Just give me some suggestions, I'll be as flexible as possible.

Like Fred said, fly into SJ early the 8th. That's your best bet. No reason to fly to LAX and then head up north in my opinion.

Or you may want to fly in late on the 7th ~ that actually may be a better move. Considering Fred wants to leave at dark thirty am

Ok, I live in Mountain View which is 15 minutes N of San Jose. Sharkster lives in Gilroy which is 20 minutes S. of San Jose, Robert lives in Salinas and FastEddie in San Cruz which are both about 45minutes South. So San Jose Airport is where you want to land in.

So I suggest I pick you up as I am the only one going South towards AZ. We can meet somewhere near Robert/FastEddie. You can then ride with FastEddie as I like to drive alone ;-)

Guys chime in please.

Yea you are my personal travel agents and while you're at I'll need you to hold my hand while crossing the street.

Just trying to make this as convenient as possible for you guys; you’re already doing me a huge favor by letting me tag along. With that in mind I want to make my flight times around when you guys want to come and go.

and Noel, you want... no make that NEED to pack very light, because only a very skinny bag will fit through behind Fred's GT3 seats (unless he has space in the boot).

Fred will be able to provide a bit more info in this regard.

Ok, you are starting to scare me! Please post pic of yourself ;-)

Why don't you do this, look into flights coming into San Jose International Airport for early arrival on the 8th, and departure I suggest you just leave from AZ.

Ok…here's what I have so far…The earliest I can arrive in San Jose on the 8th is 10:10am. I know that Fred wants to leave at the earlier than that, so I think my best bet would be to arrive in San Jose sometime on the 7th and shack up in some airport hotel. How does that sound, my little travel agents? As far as the return, I'm not sure when you guys wanted to come back from AZ...
