Also,

do an actual pressure test on you system, It must be tight.
The blown six are a great design.

Hello dirk,

It's possible that your computer must have a few days before to run properly!!! The best way is maybe to drive minimum 3-4days to be sure if it's this problem or another.

For my side I'm really happy with my stage 2 from upsolute. I made today a little race on the highway against a SUZUKI GSX-R 1100 130hp and he had no chance to catch me

I never liked a car like this one...Really amazing...

Terry.

Hi Marty,

I'm curious, what is your reason for stating the B6 is a great design?

I have a set going on this week and they look very well made, the published specs appear good, etc., but there is limited information available regarding them... one thing I noticed is they apper to be a copy of the RS Tuning design.

Has anyone measured the intake temps between stock and B6 IC's? I would love to see that data.

Immediately after I switched out stock ICs for EVOMs Clubsports and stock boost hoses for silicone, I noticed a slight (0.1sec) increase in lag during gear changes on my P-Box graph. The car felt faster to me once the car was in gear and boost was up. However, the slight increase in lag negated the speed gain and my 60-130 times were essentially unchanged. They were however much more consistent from run to run.

After the ICs had been on several weeks I tried 60-130s again and saw improvement with turbo lag times returning to what I saw before the IC swap. There are alot of variables to consider here. It was cooler. I may have shifted faster. The car may have shifted to a more aggressive map or some combination of the above...

I think if after a few days if the problem still persists - do a pressure test. I've heard that these all aluminum can IC's can leak on a weld. Best of luck and let us know what the verdict is!!!

I would stay away from Blown6...after sending me very defective cores and sending them back for a full refund they still have not given me back my funds back after 6 months even after emailing them almost everyday. Blown6 is shady.

I'm happy with the EVOMS ICs I ended up buying from Sharkwerks.

They are K24's w/ K16 compressors, yes? I think the B6's might be a little on the big side, but that is just my guess. W/ straight K24's at 1.2 bar I don't think they are too big. I would prefer a bit too large to too small, since a lack of cooling could lead to detonation and BOOM. Of course Belgium isn't that hot.

Sorry to stray from subject but I thought a K16/24 was a 16 turbine with a 24 compressor??

The B6's are too big for for K16, i shouldn't say too big but it will increase your lag, all those calculations are nice but it doesn't reflect the real world, I use the B6 and they work pretty well, but I wouldn't run them on a K16 or a k24, The stock IC is fine for the stock turbos. Why were they changed anyways?

I installed them on my 996 TIP along with headers & programming & had no complaints other than dealing with the company that sold them. With 1.2 bar boost I wonder if your detonating & triggering knock protection thats pulling out timing. When it comes to intercooling cooler is better & how can 30% better efficiency be a bad thing?. I have since sold the car & kept them. They are for sale & in mint condition Asking. $1,000.00 949-378-1590
