Can anyone give me a little help on my front coilovers?

Do I have to remove the front CV Axle? I know the tie rods need plit. I hate using a fork. Should I just try blunt drama Do I need to compress them or they should come out with plenty of room to spare!

Thanks
Ralph

DO NOT use a fork splitter. You dont want to tear the boot. Use this style:

I went down to my local Shucks and rented the tool for free.

Ok 77, you need to remove the Big nut and remove the axles from the hub. It would be a good idea to compress the springs but you dont have to. I shot mine across the garage floor Let me know if you have anymore questions I just put my coilovers in not too long ago...

Do I remove the axle from the front differential. I got my nut off and pounded the axle in but it won't go in very far. So my question is does the axle get completely removed? Does the tie rod need to be split?

No, you remove the whole assembly from the control arm. You dont remove the axle from the diff. Shoot me your email address I have pics of when I did it. I was going to make a DIY but I havent had the time.

Pictures are worth a thousand words....
