You are 100% correct is was an Auto. Car looked great with fair km,s. In one way glad I missed it as I ended up with a manual, one owner, 27K km's. Why would you change the colour? The White looks great!!

They both are awesome looking cars. The Yellow one WOW, the interior is super nice. The White one, looks great also, interior not as nice, but honestly probably better for a daily driver and the extra power....Mmmmmmmmmm Go with the white one! They must have horrible autophotographers down there, they keep reversing the negatives when they shoot the interiors!

You're probably right - I'm not up to speed with what these mods are worth - just even the stock cars seem to start at $160K-$180K for early 996/high kms from what I've seen so far - would probably prefer to select my own mods starting off a base of an x50 or Turbo S anyway - got some thinking to do!

Agree the white looks great - overall I think I prefer the yellow though - will probably use the car most days and just tend to prefer the silver/grey/black colours for a daily. Just missed out on a silver GT2 which sold before I could get to Sydney to take a look so getting a bit impatient I suppose.

If it was the Silver GT2 on carsales.com.au then we both missed it. The GT2's are difficult to find, so are the X50 packaged 996TT's. I guess patience is the key.

Guys, he is in Australia so the steering wheel is of no consequence and after looking at both cars I would be taking the white any day over the yellow!

The basics on this car looks realy good for more serious power upgrades. 550 HP is old school to most.

White car look sgreat.

Incidentally, QSM is owned by "Q" who used to be an active member on the 993tt forum. Nice bloke who loves his Porsches and one of the reasons I ended up with my 996tt.

Both cars look great. If its more of a daily, stick with the lounge seats over the GT3 seats. There's a few power up options available in Oz without spending silly money. Patience and research and you'll get what you're looking for. But if you find a GT2 BUY IT!!!!
