Where did you find a 4000 lb viper?? is that with two 300 lbs persons in the car?? There are some fast vipers... be very careful.. hmmm very careful. The one at Tx2k7 with 890 ran 4.9 60 to 130....hmmm better be careful

In all honesty...if the car is really making that much power and the guy can actually drive his car...you won't have a chance. But hey...stranger things have happened on the street. Good luck either way.

if im not mistaken a 2002 viper gts weighs around 3500lbs
his supercharger w/ components alone is about 100lbs
also, he has chrome HRE wheels, which weigh quite a bit, also theres a few LBS of stickers on the car too ...

Beside my Porsche tt, I own a S/C Viper.
Its very unstable, in fact I once spun out hitting second gear hard with a big street tire.
S/C Vipers with street tires are in the 10's (seconds) in the quarter and Slicks can bring you a 9 second car with good driving skills.
After you shift you are just hanging on hoping its still going straight.
People that have been unlucky enough to get rides all claim its too violent.
Its hard to keep it in the center lane.
A stock gear will run a quicker 1/4 mile time then a high gear. Less shifting
But a higher gear is more fun around town.
Underground builds bad rides that do not seem to disappont.
