I'm about to install (next week hopefully) one made from Don on this forum, It looks superb and is based on the FVD one!

Don't even attempt to order from FVD, it started with 2 weeks, then 4 weeks, then a further email to tell me 6/7 weeks, told them to refund my money and take a run and jump!

I will keep you up to date
Hey Stevo:

I am new comer to the forum from Taiwan. I wonder if the RSS's intake plenum is similar to that of FVD's ? Tks!

Welcome!

No there are 2 different items:

- RSS intake is the one after the throttle body and feed the engine with air coming from the Turbos.

- FVD plenum is the one that is coming from the airbox and split two pipes to the turbos, feeding them with air.

I thought they were both similar. Aren't they both plenums after the throttle body that feed air to the turbos?

I ordered mine, along with a couple of other things from Evan @ FVD. He used to hang around here a lot more than he does now but I think he's still here.

It goes: Intake -> MAF Housing -> FVD Plenum -> Turbos -> Intercoolers -> Y-Pipe -> Throttle Body -> RSS "splitter" -> engine.

No, you can do it with the engine in the car. You will need to lower it down a few inches for more room however.

Why do you have to be a cartoonist?
