Need a Body Shop!

Can anyone recommend a really good Body Shop in the L.A. area, preferably in the Pasadena (San Gabriel)area? I got rear-ended earlier today. The car has significant damage, but I dont think its totalled. Also, what can I do to try to total the car? When will the car have a blemished title?

*** I dont think I want to keep it now.

In west L.A. there is a shop called Golden Hammer and I hear they do great work on P cars. I wouldn't know first hand because I brought my previous turbo there when it got hit by LAPD and it ended up being a total loss so I never saw the finished product. Good luck.

Maybe you can contact Rusnak and ask them where they send their cars.

Thank you. West L.A. is a little far. You gave me a good idea. I'll call them tomorrow.
Thanks again.

You should also call some local tuner shops and ask for their recommendations.

If you are willing to come to san diego, Amato's does exceptional work and they must just give you an estimate that is so high the insurance might total your car, I'd suggest getting a few estimates and this all is assuming that the damage is pretty bad...hard to say without pics

On my last car, state farm said becuase damage was more than 75% of the value of the car, it is considered a total loss. So you need about 50-60k in damage i would think.
