My stage 2 TT seems slow.....
I have had my stage 2 now for about a year and when it was first modified it seemed so much faster than stock.
Of late it seems 'fast' but not stage 2 like fast - boost seems normal as does everything else.
Any suggestions ?
Like time for dyno session or stage 4 ?
Maybe after a while you just don't notice the power and you get aclimatized to the power ?
Anyone else experienced this ?
Maybe I need to re-flash it to stock for a while :-)

Lol . . . welcome to the club!!! What once felt stupid fast is now mundane. Its amazing how quickly our point of reference evolves. The first time I drove a stock 996TT, I nearly crapped in my pants. A year later, a modified 996TT was banal. I have bad news for you . . . the illness is uncurable. Whatever stage you move to, you will get used to that after a while as well. Therefore, my only recommendation is to skip the intermediate steps and incremental upgrades, and go straight to a big HP set-up.

Great comments above.
Now, do a baseline before you go deep. Do a 60-130 mph run using
a driftbox (best $500 investment for any speed nut).
My stock car == 12.6 seconds
My PSI 480 kit with exhuast == 10.96 seconds
MY Protomotive Car when done == __________? (faster than ****)
This way I will know if Todd Knighton has accomplished anything with
MY car (rather than knowing what an improvement is SUPPOSED to do).
After a while the 480 kit didnt seem like much...
Good luck!

When I first drove my car it was frightening. I ran on low boost most of the time (about 500rwhp). Now I am used to high boost. Car doesn't feel slow by any means but I would love another 80 hp.
Point of reference is very true.

Stage 2 really is nothing.... The only time I have been happy with a car was one it was making over 600WHP. For me it was enough that traction was always the issue more than how fast it was.
As for stock these cars are slow in stock form. If that was all it had I would not of bought one. Now wonce you mod them, it becomes more bareable.

Sounds like someone needs an upgrade. I got tired of my stage two after a couple months and went directly up to the GT640 kit. Im itching to go bigger but don't really want to tinker with the engine mods yet.

People just have to find what's best for them, as in keep upgrading the car everytime they get bored, or a car that already so thrilling that power isnt everything, just putting it out there because most people dont realize this. It took me a while to notice i couldnt just compensate with mods!
