Martin I heard you got new wheels? I want pics!
Scott I have not used the shaved RA1's on my BBS's yet, but have been on regular street RA1's on the street and track, and I absolutely lovvveee them! If you read my reviews previously in random tire threads I always prefer them, they heat up damn quick and stick like glue ! Although I know Scott divexx posted up the newer replacements that I think you mentioned, haven't heard much about them yet!
Ya, i'm going to pick up a set of RA1's for the GTO then, have you dealt with them in the rain yet? Luckily the car is now a weekend car so I won't be driving it all the time, RA1's should make for some fun street action.
The R888 is the replacement for the RA1, talking w/ the Business Development guy yesterday he said hopefully by the end of the year they should be here. They are already released in Europe.

My bad fellas just got home from Atlantic City tonight, been away.. Tomorrow for sure, and I have not experienced the RA1's in the rain BUT they aren't terrible if you take it easy from what I have heard..

Martin, are planning to start driving in the rain?
I must say I really do miss getting a little sideways every day since doing the RA1's. Martin, are you getting the 245 & 335 widths? I'm scared to push them to the break point!

Mike it will not be driven in the rain, as it is I hardly drive it in this beautiful weather
I do like the fun of having it fry 2nd right now haha, but its true with the RA1's its like spike strips in the ground, btw on the street its obviously a lot diff. but on a rod course at breaking adhesion point it gives fair warning and input to driver, it starts to skip a bit but still grabs, never fully breaks loose ane back end out!

Dear Martin,
If there aren't any pics by 10:00, your post count is going to start dropping by 1 post/minute. Either that or I send Viscious to come break your shifting hand and left foot (again
). You choose!
Have a good night!

I tried to order a set under the radar today but got caught by someone and was told I need to wait my 30 days of employment
And on top of that i'm limited to 20 tires a year
