Gt2

Concur with Oak. GT2 is much faster on the street/open road. On track, it will depend on the driver.

On a track the GT2 would rape the GT3 with the same driver, same handling with 115 more horsepower. With MPSC's I would expect Porsche to report a 1:36 or faster at the ring.

Im assuming we are talking about both being 997's which is what the original poster suggested. The 996 GT2 vs 997 GT3 would be a good match, but if the 997 GT2 can barely beat the 997 GT3 it's far beyond it's price range.

keep in mind that RS will drive/feel just like the GT3 u have except the light weight flywheel difference and looks flasher. unless u're plan to keep the GT3 forever otherwise i wouldn't spend the extra money for the RS figuring u will not fine one at sticker now.

Im leaning a bit towards the RS due to no turbo lag and the high redline.

what do you guys think?

You could always mod your Turbo. RWD conversion, some additional power, suspension, losing some weight. Unless you change cars a lot and want to lose the minimum money.
