How come no spanked Z06's ?
I swear this board is so damn ignorant sometimes. How can so many people be so eager to discredit a fantastic car. Finally, something useful produced from an American Auto Manufacturer and you take a crap on it. Nice.

There are countless people that own both a Z06 and a Pcar and many more that have sold their PCar for the Z06.
Are you aware that PCars still use McPherson struts? Not exactly the best quality there huh?
We should be talking about Ferraris and Gallardos huh? Are you aware that the owners of those cars are the same people that say "why the hell are we comparing our cars to a Porsche?"........Get over yourself already.

skojasevic, you are not only ignorant, but misinformed.
The Corvette does not "use leaf springs" it has A SINGLE transversely mounted composite leaf spring that helps stabilize the rear-end under hard acceleration. The car still has a coilover strut/spring setup at each corner.
Please get a clue or stop posting useless garbage in this thread.

Steve, reps for you fot finding those pics. LMAO
In all seriousness though, the Vette isnt a car for everyone, period.
No matter how fast it is or how inexpensive it is. Kudo's to Chevy for kicking it out, lets just hope the roof's stay on.
I have driven one and yes they are fast no doubt, for me it is not a complete package thats all. Alot more than brute HP is needed to make me happy in a car.
LOL ^ cant let that "roof" thing go.

hey listen
all im saying is that , YES it is a respectable car
BUT
in my eyes, and maybe im ignorant(which is probably the case here), but i would still take a porsche
maybe its a psychological thing, but for me , a porsche is the pinnacle of high performance motoring
