We need multi-source confirmed evidence (thanks Colin Powell) of these gains before we bombard you with orders.

Matt,

I fully agree with you, and that is what we intend to do.

We have a very solid reputation in the industry of producing "no hype" products, and any gains/improvements we claim can always be duplicated by our clients in independent situations.

We even suggested to Vinnie that he maybe he shouldn't post these results since people will jump all over him asking for more proof.

As an example of our no BS approach, take a look at this write up we did on 3" Audi S4 exhaust system testing:

Audi Exhaust Tests

The competitor in this test claims nearly 20hp from their system, while there are no independent dyno sheets out there to confirm this claim. Instead of taking the same hype approach, we preferred to present the real (though less "impressive") gains one can expect to see from the systems we sell.

Our approach may not result in as many short term sales as if we inflated the results like our competitor's do, but overall we feel it bolsters our company's long term reputation of being truthful.

We will conduct further testing on our system with the K24s, and you can bet that our final results will be posted here on this forum.

Given that Vinnie's car had no changes done to it except replacing the OEM exhaust system with ours, I am fairly confident that we will be able to reproduce the same results on multiple cars. We'll see very soon.

Todd,

I don't jump all over anyone. I do ask for clarifications so as to obtain what I believe is a complete understanding. I will take almost anyone on their word providing they answer the questions. If I disagree, that is only my opinion based on what information I have obtained.

Congraduations on your product.

Chad,

My statement about people jumping on him for more proof was not directed at anyone in this thread, but at what I saw as a possibility of happening yesterday after such stunning results on Vinnie's own car.

I apologize if you thought I was referring to you.

All I wanted to express is that we are not prone to beating our chest and making wild public claims. When we make claims, we only do so with hard evidence, usually obtained through our own direct testing.

Thanks for the congrats.

Vinnie is infamous around these parts
Sorry Todd for opening my mouth so soon...I was just too excited keep my mouth shut. I have driven the car for over 300 miles now and I can tell you the car really pulls more linear throughout the RPM band...it appears as if the car has LESS lag with this exhaust than with the factory...again this is my BIG BUTT dyno feeling these gains and I am sorry if I jumped the gun. The car definitely sounds AMAZING...thanks again and sorry for the presumptuous post.

I paid $3650 plus an hour labor for installation. The exhaust really opened up the K-24s

Yes, sorry, here is some updated information:

The dyno sheet above is of Vinnie's car. The base run was done during a visit December, and the test run right after the install of the AWE/McNeil Competition muffler. No other changes were done to the car. All ambient weather conditions, except for barometric pressure, were corrected for.

We are conducting more tests in the upcoming weeks to determine if this gain is typical from the muffler alone, as our experience has been limited to installations of complete turbo/muffler/chip packages in the past, with no incremental testing. However, we have installed packages using modified OEM or GT2 mufflers, and the results were similar to what Vinnie saw as his baseline.

We have uploaded some new pictures and info to our "coming soon" page for this system.

Take a look here.

Any questions, let us know!

We took some measurements and here are the results.

Weights:

OEM, no tips: 54 lbs

AWE/McNeil, no tips: 33.60 lbs

Savings: 20.40 lbs

Tips, ea: 1.3 lbs

how much boost?

Todd,

On the dyno, did you keep an eye on the amount of boost you were running? That is a lot of gain for an exhaust, and on some of the cars, this is caused by boost creep.
