Silly question regarding engine oil
Hi,
I bought some Mobil1 0W-40 for topping off. Unfortunately I didn't think at all and just bought a 4L can. After opening it and use say 1L for topping off, could I save the rest for later? Or does engine oil expire after opening (moisture, evaporation and all that?)
If so may be I should just save this 4L can for the next oil change ...
