Did I lose some handling with my 19'' wheels?

Uhhmm. yep. they are T1R's. not so good? I didn't know anything about them, but was told they were "great tires". I guess you get what you pay for I'll wear them out and switch back to my ps2's

Well I guess for most people wanting a sportier 'all weather' tire, who is just slapping them on wheels to drive around town with they are fine... As for performance, cornering, handling they sucked to me.. The sidewall is too thin and SOFT! Its alright, just wanted you to realize its the tire not your car, it will get a bit better with miles on the tire as Damon mentioned!

no doubt, my car handled better with my 19's and yoks better than the with 18 hollows shod with pirellis. I must say for some reason the yok AVS were stellar performing street tires on dry. too bad they are soo hard to get in the 25 profile.

now on the other hand, my 18's with bbs racing shod with mpsc is the "cat's meow".

Thanks for the input. Thanks to Bruce on our drive today, he discovered that my tire pressure was a little too high and lowering it did improve the handling. Its still not as good as it was previously.

Front end steering effort has increased since running 19" w/ a 245 front tire, besides that they feel great. I'm pretty sure that for ***** out performance, 18's are the right choice. I'm a bling man...

One key reason is that the Pirelli's you had on the 18's sucked.

The Pirelli's are the worst of the OEM 18" tires by far IMO.
