How much money do you think the 996TT was truly worth when new?

Mine (TONS of options, full CF etc) was about $25k overpriced. $100k fully loaded should be the limit on the Turbo. Of course all Porches are overpriced.......look at what they pay for Boxsters and Caymans
My 2003 stickered for $149K new with PCCB, X50, areokit, Bose, small carbon pac, dev stitching, sports seats, and a few other minor options. I bought it used for 2/3 of that price with only 2,500 miles on the clock. All my Porsches I've bought used (except the 993). The used market the 996TT is truely a bargain.
Iam sorry but a Porsche can never be exclusive not in Sweden anyway one of the most common sportscar and a common choice by dentists that wants to be real gearheads, tragic but true.

Why a $111k car come with rubber diverter valves? My coworker's Saab has metal ones from the facotry (at least he claims...)
Also: watched a video of the McLaren SLR's instrument cluster. I don't care if it's five times the price. Why doesn't mine look like that? Hell, for $111k, it should be at least close to Aston Martin territory. Bump it up to $115k and we'll call it even. I bet it would even help the resale a little, give the Turbo something a little something extra to separate it from the NA cars.
