GT2 Dr. Side Radiator Fan ??? Question ???

GT2 Dr. Side Radiator Fan ??? Question ???

Does anyone know why the drivers side radiator fan is eliminated on the GT2? The factory wiring is provisioned for it but "capped off", and there is no bracketry to support a fan assembly like there is on a Standard TT.

Just wondering?

According the Porsche's GT2 Service Information Technik (called "Porsche propaganda" by one of the dimmer bulbs in the 6speed chandelier), improved air management obviated the need for the fan:
