What is a good number on an 04 996TT?

I found an 04 Turbo I like, but the dealer is asking over $99k! He is out of his mind, but what would be a fair price for an 04TT with 10k miles?

Thanks.

It would depend on the mods the car has, Cab or Coupe, wheels etc. 99k might be great for a stage 4 cab with 10k miles with killer mods inside as well, so it really depends on the whole package.

Give us more info.

i bought my turbo from them in October 2005. It was a CPO'd 18mos old '03 turbo with 12K miles with similar options as yours but with CF package and sport seats. They had it listed for $89,995 and sold it to me for $87500. I had a couple of locals call and talk to "their people" in the dealership on my behalf but they wouldn't budge off that price. I actually did walk from the deal as there was another polar silver turbo but that still didn't motivate them to drop the price.

So I don't see them budging much - especially since it's summer time. Good looking turbo though - hope you work out a deal!

Doesn't 100k sounds very high for an 04 TT with 10k miles?

I agree. I think you can buy a similar cab for mid-90's. Feels about $10K rich based on what I've been seeing for a non X-50 car.

996tt's are an amazing value.

It doesn't have the high dollar options on it X-50 or PCCB so 99k seems a bit high. The miles are very low and after market mods don't add value, in fact in most cases subtract value. If it's unmolested bone stock it seems 90k+ might be the better range for it.

You guys must be kidding. You should be able to find an 04TT w/ 10K miles for 85K, maybe a touch less. Just look in the for sale forum here on 6speed.

On a side note, the market for sellers seems very stale right now. I'm always buying or selling something and things just seem soft. I've got a C6Z I'm selling with no interest and a couple of friends are getting nothing on F cars that should be hot. Could be the cool market on refi's and seconds perhaps.

Great time to be a buyer though.

Yes I am, Rob. How is your car running and when will I see it?

By the way, You should help Renntech out because on the other thread it was clear that his meds need adjustment.
