I work with the U.S. Distribution of TECHART product.
Please be assured that TECHART is not having any difficulties of any kind at this time. There is a tabloid publication in Germany that has produced an article which is being mis-interpreted. TECHART is in no way being held liable for any wrongdoing.
For clarification: Two individuals authorized to use materials at the Porsche research facility removed complete engine cores from the facility. They later were successful in selling these engines to a local Porsche dealer. This dealer had a history in selling engine cores to TECHART. Upon receiving these particular units TECHART realized that they were not of standard configuration and returned them to the dealer.
Later it was found by government officials that those units were amongst the group of materials removed from the research facility. TECHART complied with officials by supplying all documentation proving the purchase and return of the engines back to the dealer.
TECHART is not being held responsible for any wrong doing in this matter.

Well, I recall something similar that happen to RUF some years back, relating to some rumor of suposely stolen cars been rebadged by RUF, never hear more of it, all gossip I guess, everything was taken out of context, hope everything is good with TechArt, I have always liked the brand., best, Sonny.

reported that several engines were seized at the facilities of TECHART. This is also not true.
TECHART has been surprised by this occurrence. Of course, TECHART will fully contribute
to clarify all facts in this matter and to resolve all suspicions.

Any reverse engineering? Please, the whole thing smells fishy. The fact is, only a few people in Germany know the truth, I commend you guys for circling the wagons but the truth will come out in the wash, in Germany.

First of all, I sincerely apologize for the confusion I caused by posting the news on a German tabloid. TechArt did not shut down and this is an allegation against TechArt. Again, i posted some errenous information which shouldn't be posted in the first place.
Therefore, I deeply regretted my actions and offer my sincere apology to Techart GMBH and its customers.
