gets blasted on a 2nd and 3rd gear pull. I was cruisin around on a road with some real nice turn when I got stuck behind some sucker going 5 under. All of a sudden I see a brand new red saleen mustang with graphics all over it pull out in front of the car I'm behind. I get a chance to pass and hammer it down to catch up to him. I get behind him and he start to take off in the turns. We go through about 10 turns and he can't get remotely close to shake me.


One of the last turns I felt like I got a little to close to him so on the straight way as the lanes become 2 I roll up next to him and say "sorry about that last turn". Apparently he wasn't brothered by it and he wants another shot at the straight thinking the muscle in his car should give him a better chance. 2nd gear roll he takes the hit, I go and put a car on him quickly shift to 3rd and put another 6 cars on him before I let out. Good times.

Those Saleens are a lot of show and not much go IMO, expensive to boot.

 

Seemed more like a Boozoka.

 

nice kill.......most of them arent supercharged and are runnin the NA motors that are in the GT version of the mustang

the supercharged ones can pack a punch but depending on what is done to your 996 you could probably still beat one

 

Even if it were supercharged and could pull his TT (which I doubt) they still weigh 2 tons and handle like crap. The thing that sucks is it was probably a 45-50K car, he at least could have gotten a Vette.

 

yeah, i just know that the majority of them arent even supercharged.......
