GT2 For Sale - Help Needed
Thanks Phoenix and PCJR for the info. I saw the Naples dealer photos and was wondering if he gave up trying to consign through them or if he previously bought it from them. I talked to the owner’s wife last night and he is supposed to call me later today.
Sharky, yes, always a good time BS'ing with you! You run a great shop.
Peter, I thought you had taste before that comment.
Joe, good suggestion. If I didn't get into a Supra scene, I could have bought a GT new
Sharky and I were discussing the good and bad between doing a turbo RS; waiting for the 997 GT2 and dealing with the tuning headaches that car will present; another 996 GT2 (making my old one look slow); or spending less money and doing a similar ***** out 996 to set some records. All these options are quite different, so I'm keeping an open mind. The particular GT2 I linked above is the only GT2 that looks interesting so far.
I'll keep you all posted on what I find out about this car....

No, I've seen a few in person, it's just not my thing, I think a car like this looks best in silver, black and white. In any event, I would love to have a GT2 but would never buy this color. Just my 0.02

Cobalt Blue in person on Porsches is very cool and unique (and yes I love
the silver GT2's).
Jamie,
remember if you go mod wacko again (like most of us), then maybe a GT2
closer to $100K and not such low miles??
Good luck, I like your style!
Marty K.

Sharky is right....although buying a higher mileage car makes a lot more sense doing what we do to these poor cars, I've never been too rational when it comes to my cars (and my wife)

I spoke with the owner of the 03 white GT2 earlier today. I've always liked that car, so we'll see what happens this week
