Exterior mods completed...pics included!

I've been collecting various parts for my TT over the course of the last several months. After finally completing my collection, I had my local shop install them all. I just got my car back today. Here's what was installed:
  • 19-inch iForged Monacos in flat-black, polished-rim finish, with PS2's all around
  • H&R lowering springs
  • H&R front and rear sway bars
  • Cargraphic Loud exhaust
  • Carbon fiber GT2-style wing blade
  • Carbon fiber "turbo" logo
Thanks to Dan at Vivid Racing for a great deal on the wheels/tires and a very special thanks to German Master Tech (my local shop) for all the installation work; these guys are great!

Here's a picture of my car before the mods:

...and here are several "quick 'n dirty" shots of my car after the mods:

Overall, I'm really happy with how the car came out. I love the darker look, and the Cargraphic Exhaust just sounds mean! I think I really need to add a set of Carbon Fiber mirrors to complete the look. Also, I think I'm going to have to look for a regular black "turbo" emblem for the back; the CF one doesn't quite match.

I still need to detail the car and get it together with the Lambo for a quality photoshoot. God I love summer...

nice changes! i too, got the cf turbo badge but never put it on....get your oem sprayed, it looks much better! if i may? you need tint and your idea for cf mirrors is right on! too bad that no manufacturers make a cf roof for the car! that would just top it!

keep up the sweet modding!

Josh.... carl looks fantastic. love the wheels too. How awesome is the Cargraphic exhaust? I have the same. I am alway blipping the throttle just to hear it roar. A nice detail of your car will bring out the depth of that seal grey.

Hey guys, thanks for all the positive feedback -- I really love the look and the exhaust!

mike - I think you're right on with the tint idea. On a side note, did you get your OEM chrome "turbo" badge sprayed black? That may be the way to go...

Est8esq - Great looking cab...I love the Techart bumper!

Yes, I actually did the turbo emblem myself...I didn't want to pay tons of money for it! I buffed the emblem slightly with the green wash pad, then I sprayed the emblem flat black (primer style) 3 even coats with one hour dry time in-between, then did a final spray with semi-flat, and a double set of clear afterwards...It is money! Final cost...12 bucks compared to 130.00...

oh, and the TechArt front from Est8esq is totally drool worthy!

How hard is it to install a GT-2 style wing meant to replace the OEM wing....

Hi.

Really like Emissary's car....how difficult is the install of the wing, and what tools are needed?

Will CF look ok on a Midnight blue car? Should in my mind.....

TIA!

JB

Hey, thanks for the compliments! I don't believe the wing is that difficult to install. I didn't do it myself (my shop did it with everything else) but I can't imagine it would take more than an hour. The key apparently is having the right tools. This thread explains how to do it:

https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ad.php?t=82500

On a side note, I think that the CF will look great on a Midnight Blue car...that's the best part about CF -- it goes with almost everything...
