Jesus Man, I applaud you for even asking us this question. I have an enormous respect for my lady. When it comes to my cars and hobbies I just pull out my slong and show it to her and ask her if she has a package like this and "enough said" , plus she is Italian and respects her man...Whatever fills your sack though...

 

We both drive our cars so I usually take her opinion. Although most of the modifications I do to my cars have performance in mind and leave appearance stock so she never complains. We chose wheels together though.

As far as I'm concerned if my woman doesnt know jack about cars she cant give me any advice on how to design mine, I let her pick stuff for her car. Mine is trying to learn though and supports me at the track and such and hopefully will get out there and drive one day. She did agree that when I got the stock painted wheels that we both liked them better than the techarts I had before, so I sold them (without any prodding or even asking). If you cant agree on it, argue about it for a little while and then MAKE UP and I mean really MAKE UP.

But whatever you do dont buy into the macho man shutup @!#%#$ routine and end up not getting any for a while (if you have a woman that does that, I think one of us would be dead if I did). Every relationship is different and if you are asking for relationship advice on a sports car website, your marriage is in trouble.

From your sig I think your car is black, correct? If she saw it primed gray on your car of course it looked stupid. On a black car you can hardly tell the difference of the gt2 nose plus it is hella cool. Keep it. If she does not like it you can change it later. Let her hear "nice car" at the gas pump a few times before your final decision. Good luck.

 

It's not a woman's place to question her man's automobile. Hence, I believe something is broken with yours, and recommend contacting the factory for a warranty repair.
