I did a search and didn't find a comparison between the different short shifters availableout there. Any difference between the throw lengths between the B&M, SSK or any other? I know the price varies but I'm more interested in the performance. Any different feel in the mechanisms?

Use the search feature. There have been endless discussions on the pros and cons regarding the B&M and the Porsche SSK. Stay away from the billet shift linkage. I'm going back to the OEM linkage, but I am keeping the B&M SSK.

I don't know. Our cars have long clutch travel and i'm sure Porsche had done that for a reason. If i shorten the shifter I would still have to wait for the clutch so it would be pointless so in my opinion. You should just stick to what you have. Perhaps rushing the tranny would be bad for it . Just a guess of course
