Anyone have pictures of Black/Black TT with stock black wheels?

There is not too much heat in Powdercoating for wheels at all, will not hurt the wheels or damage the structural integrity. With paint you will be repainting every year or two because they will peel.

According to BBS, the only powdercoating that does not affect the integrity of the wheels is if it is done by the manufacturer and therefor taken into account when designing the wheel. The heat needed to cure the powdercoat is not recommended by them, and I would think they know what they're talking about.

When you start showing me some wheels damaged or non performing based on powdercoating then I'll buy that the manufacturer is the only person that can powdercoat like they have a top secret formula or something. I have had several sets of powdercoated wheels over the years and never a problem based on them being so. I have also had one set of painted wheels that chipped after 6 months, paint sucks period unless you have a garage queen.
