Thanks for the humorous responses.

The guy clearly has a good looking and very fast car. I would not have suggested a race but for his bold license plate frame. Absent the frame and "any time" bravado, it would be perfectly appropriate for him to decline my invitation. However, after publicly declaring his superiority and offering to run "any time," his subsequent silence is, IMHO, weak.

I am not inclined to publicly challenge him on the Corvette Forum. I am not looking to create acrimony, or to embarrass the guy among his peers. I was not even going to post here about the plate or his "any time" response but for his subsequent silence. I posted simply as an amusing anecdote . . . nothing more, nothing less.

I think a nicely tuned gt700 from evoms and or protomotive would give that vette a good run as well....
