It is possible to get a better than factory job. Big $$$ to do it right you must take the car apart etc etc......

yes its possible.

If you want it done right it means all glass out, engine out, doors off and more.

We have done color changes for clients before and to do it right is timely process..

Last one was about 13k for all the labor, but the car is pretty well stripped..

So expect to spend anywhere from 10-15k to have this done on average.

I assume a flat paint will be much less expensive to do. I really wonder how RUF does their cars since they're all body in white to begin with.

Starting with white will be a big plus for you.

I agree with Fabryce, If your going to do it right it will cost you between 13k to 15k.. I have done it properly and it cost me 14k for the right Gun man to meet my expectations.. It is a matter of preference and budget!!!

My paint job was close to 18k (the former owner, a Senior VP of Merrill Lynch who makes that in 3-4 days work did it...not me) but it is better than factory.

We almost painted one of my race cars flat blue. If it's anything but a show car, adding a flat agent is not the way to go. You can't buff any scratches out and to do a flat job right like the Merc SEMA car will cost you 2x a typical high end job. They are extemely difficult to do.

just remember that a repainted car, no matter how good the job (especially if you are changing the factory color), usually devalues the car. but since most of us are modding ours anyway, it probably won't make much difference in the end anyway. So go for it.

Not any car can pull off that flat black look. A poor paint job will simply look like a black chalkboard on wheels.
