Gt640 Or Gt700
#61
S4,
See my sig below. I do not know how to accurately convert the
dyno runs my car made (my car was dynoed for many HOURS, not minutes).
I do know that according to Todd K that my horsepower is very sustainable
and that it was done on a DynaPack (which bolts the hubs to the dyno so there is no slip), and he puts it under a variety of loads. My pump gas
run was done at 1.1 bar which is how I run it 95% or the time. I believe that
the GT640 at the time was THE kit to have and now it is one of the 700 kits.
If you do a power level this high, make sure you upgrade your intercoolers.
The foundation for my kit will support even higher HP/TQ but that would require a full engine build.
Good luck with your decision!

So Marty! If I opt for either Proto 650(k24/18G)/GT640 or even GT700/Proto700, would you suggest me to do the engine internal? Someone has suggested to do GT640/Proto650 if I want to keep stock internal. What do you think? The weather in here is hot and humid and temp is above 100゚F for most of time. My driving is once for a while to compete with friends on highway from 60mph~170mph, so mid and high end power is quite important to get around with our contest. Please provide your valuable opinion. Thank you!

S4,
If you wanna stand out above the rest go with Proto 700. If you do the standard package you will be at 600 whp/600 tq and you'll be good with stock internals. Of course those numbers are running at least 100 octane.

Thanks for your advice RCNJ! I wonder 600whp is about how many crank hp for AWD? Do I need to multiply 1.12, 1.15 or 1.17?
