Does driving in a DE void your warranty?

Does driving in a DE void your warranty?
I am a new Porsche owner and would like to attend DE's (not races yet), and am wondering if this in any way voids the warranty? Thanks for your response.

Check you policy closely
And call your Insurance Agent if you know him well enough to do so. Almost all policies will carry a restriction against "speed contests". The exact definition of "speed contest" will be wherein the rub lies.
A "Driver Education" event is meant to be educational right? Well, how about when it's held at Willow Springs? And if they check your car and find little goodies like a harness bar or after-market wheels or low wear rated tires, you might end up paying for your little peccadillo on your little ol' self.
And don't forget that it is possible in some cars to read the ECU's last several moments of life to discover things like what gear and rpm you were in! It's getting so a fellow can't enjoy himself anymore!
There are companies that sell insurance riders for DE and other type speed contests. One of them advertises regularly in PCA publications. If you are really worried I'd get a rider from them.

Garey... good input. Warranty and insurance are different stories.
Ultimately, it's really up to the dealer. I think if they want to play the DE card, they can and can probably get away with it because the warranty wording does have some verbiage about tracking your car.... BUT is it worth it to them? I mean, there are a lot of people who track their car and if you **** one off, you'll **** them all off.
My dealer wouldn't do it. They'd be insane. They even sponsor track days, so the legal ramifications could be huge.
