Question TRANNY SERVICE ?? Clues?

My '03 X50 makes some noise between gears when shifting. I'm suppose to take it to the shop on Tuesday, but from what I've learned on this forum, it may be normal?

If I drive it across town (heavy shifting) the noise grows louder. When the car is cold, you can't hear it.

Makes the noise (sounds like a chain noise or gears rattling) in neutral when you rev it, but not with the clutch pedal depressed.

Before I let the Porsche dealer dismantel my car, I'm wondering if you guys have any suggestions.

Do you have it since new?If not ,the previous owner could have installed a lightweight flywheel(sounds like what your describing).

Sh*t... that's my delima... the Porsche guys say if it is the tranny, it's under warranty. If they get into it and it's a mod, it's my $$.
