I had my Europipe installed last night. Tom at TPC opened the shop late last night just for me and did the install, even though we did everything we could to disrupt his concentration. He took time out of his Saturday night and meticulously and slowly completed the install to make sure everything was done perfectly. He is a gentleman and a true Porsche enthusiast. I trust his knowledge and recommendations without hesitation. Thanks dude.

I felt an immediate difference. It spools up much quicker and I felt a lot more torque down low. It hit a steady 1.1 bar in 4th gear at around 4500 to 5000 rpm and the throttle response was instant. The sound was perfect. I really don't think any exhaust is worth 5 g's, or 3 g's for that matter, but if you've got to spend 3 g's or more, you might as well get the the best IHMO that's out there. I'm sure Cohare will chime in with his report, we couldn't get in the car fast enough to take her out for a spin. A couple of grown men acting like high school kids. Only a babe or a fast car can provoke that type of reaction.

I'll put her back on the dyno this week, (I was too tired last night, long day). I'm pretty sure she gained about 20 ponies and about 20 to 30 lbs of torque . BTW, thanks also to Landjet and Cohare for hanging out and helping with the installation, I had a great time. See you at Solomons Island this fall.

 

Certainly a good time, and seriously this exhaust sounds perfect. Coming from my fabspeed that drones like crazy this thing sounds great, nice deep tone, no drone, and good sound wide open. Hearing him pull away it sounded really good also.

It was really awesome of Tom and TPC to open the shop on a sat night to for the install. Even at 10:30 when it was all done Tom still offered to hook it up to the dyno to see the difference. True class act.

 

Tom at TPC has been a great help to me also. He helped educate me about my car when I first got it, has done good work on it when needed and TPC did me righteous recently when I had some supercharger issues. Thanks to the guys at TPC.

Larry you have to get some pics of that awesome supercharged 993 up. If only I had the space ....

 

Hopefully I'll put her on the dyno someday this week. I'll make arrangements to video tape the session.

 

It is always great to read about a shop going the extra mile to satisfy a customer.

When I had my 993....they were THE place to get a supercharger......same level of service it seems for over 8 years.....great guys.
