i am driving a 996 turbo.... my lights for the psm and abs keeps on coming up after driving a while... i have change the MAF sensors and sensor for the abs but its still comes out... worse of all when this happen the rpm starts to be unstable and sometimes stall...sigh.... can anyone help me or has this problem??? could the be due to the alternator since it supply current to the sensors and if the vltage is not stable it will bring on the lights

 

Terence...we need more info. What year car? Any mods? I suggest you get the codes read ASAP..before we play land of a thousand guesses.

 

the last thing i did was a puting in FVD with a sport exhaust ... after that its all stock .my car is 2002 ..sorry guys i not really a tech man...

 

Get the codes read, What do you mean putting in FVD? ECU flash? That could be related. With the exhaust...it might be O2 sensor..installed incorrectly...just guessing...codes!

 

thanks a million will get the codes... i don think the exhaust and FVD was a problem cos .. that was done a 1 year ago.. and these light just appeared recently ...
